ALTERNATIVE / RENEWABLE ENERGY

Renewable Energy can be described as energy collected using renewable sources such as wind, sun, tidal dynamics, and underground sources such as geothermal heat. The primary energy generated from these renewable sources is electricity.

WIND / SOLAR

In the last decade both the focus and surge of deliverable renewable energy has been considerable. Renewable energy has grown from 20% of global supply to 28%, with supply increasing from 2% to 10% due to the massive deployment of wind farms and solar energy complexes.  Traditional energy, whether from fossil fuels and nuclear plants has over the same decade 9% and 3% respectively.

Nations around the world have been investing massive amounts to leverage the latest sun and wind technologies achieving in some countries 20% of their total energy supply being driven by renewable energy.

GEOTHERMAL / MARINE

While wind and solar renewable energy is the primary focus globally the development of additional innovative renewable energy sources continues to be tested. Innovative energy such as geothermal and tidal energy are being explored. The movement of oceanic water produce enormous amounts of kinetic energy which can be converted into electricity to power residential and commercial
